Sigil will be switching to EPGP as our loot system for Antorus. Our objectives for the new system are as follows:
Reward attendance, punctuality and effort during raid
Reward effort outside raid times
Transparent loot system
EPGP is a system where you're awarded EP (Effort Points) for attendance and boss kills.
You can earn EP the following ways:
500 per hour during farm
750 per hour during progression
500 on time bonus (for being in raid, in the instance and ready to pull at 9pm. Invites start at 8.45pm)
200 each boss kill
1000 each progression boss kill
In addition, you can also earn extra EP in your spare time by running at least one M+10 (+15 when Mythic Antorus opens). You’ll get 500EP for completing a +10/+15. This EP will be added every weekly reset. For us to be able to track this, you’ll need to download the Astral Keys addon.
When you’re awarded loot, you’ll be given GP (Gear Points). The amount of GP given varies based on the item, but are set by the EPGP addon, so everyone is charged the same amount. In general relics and trinkets are the most expensive, and all item prices increase with forges/ilvl.
We have five choices you can make when trying for an item:
BIS is 150% of the default value of the item, to prevent people from choosing BIS when it’s not. You should only choose this option if it’s actually your BIS and you’re prepared to pay the premium for it.
Major Upgrade is 100% of the default value.
Minor Upgrade is 25% of the default value. Minor Upgrade cannot be selected if the item is 10 ilvls or more above your current equipped.
Off spec is free. Don’t choose OS if it’s an item you would use in your MS. If you think you might end up using it in your MS (for example if you need to shuffle stats around) just choose Minor Upgrade. Officers will verify OS items. If you’re found using an OS item in your MS, you’ll be charged 300% GP for the item.
Transmog is free. As with OS, don’t abuse this option. The same penalties apply.
Loot will be awarded based on your PR (Loot PRiority). The person with the highest PR gets the loot.
PR is calculated as follows: PR = EP ÷ GP
Each week both EP and GP are decayed by 30% to prevent people from hoarding EP and giving everyone a chance catch up. This means your PR stays the same, but you have less EP and GP, which results in higher gains from both EP and GP.
Core Raiders have priority over Trial Raiders, regardless of PR. Core Raiders must also maintain a minimum of 8000EP to be eligible for loot.
